Rillahan and Associates

Designing sets can take hours, sometimes days and result in huge designer fees. Tech Rentals, LLC

We spoke with Stuart Danneman, National Sales Manager of Tech Rentals, LLC out of Norcross, Georgia about his recent show. "I always have great experiences with CDP," Stuart told us. After speaking with Stuart about his experience we quickly learned why he made that comment. His show had been a challenge right from the start. Apparently Stuart spent hours testing lighting and color variations because his original design called for "Miami Flash " colors. In addition the logo design also changed several times. With time ticking down Stuart still needed to find that last piece of the puzzle, the scenic for his screen surround concept. But he had a problem. The room was spatially challenged and he had a rather large screen that was filling up most of it. Stuart didn't give up hope. He was well aware of CDP's complete web site of versatile set components and immediately found a set that integrated well with his original design and the size of the room. After one call to his CDP account rep they nailed a set consisting of the Nex System (three sided frosted acrylic panels in satin aluminum frames) which provided his screen surround and then completed the look with horizontal stacked Triosk Panels that produced a unique backdrop. These components were easy to blend, fit well in a compact area and allowed maximum lighting and gobo possibilities. Stuart commented, " despite what I had to work with this set made a huge impact on my client's presentation. It was a success!"
